Why you should be Blogging – Now!
As mentioned on my previous Blog, we have been hard at work supporting our customers through the current Lockdown and this has taken a variety of forms. Whilst some of our customers have been switching to Online Services others have been taking to Video and Blogging to keep their customers updated.
Why you should be Blogging!
As well as the valuable knowledge share that can form sections of a Regular Email Newsletter, we love Blog articles because of the power to drive traffic to your website. The example I share when explaining the value of Blogging is an article I wrote back in 2014 – My Web Designer has gone Bust! – that still drives in valuable leads 6 years later! The article is a great guide to rescuing both your Website and Web address if you find yourself in difficulty, but the value it drives to Global River lies in the search traffic it drives to our website. Sitting on page one of Google for people searching “My web designer has disappeared” I get a regular feed of customers needing our services.
Our Customer Blogs
As one of the regions busiest Conveyancing Solicitors John Fletcher has had little time for Blogging, but he sees the value in using the time he finds he suddenly has on his hands to start a Brand New Blog and create content that will serve the website for years to come.
Video Blogging and Webinars
Some of our customers are also spending time interviewing thought leaders in their industry using Zoom and recording the content for use on their websites. This can also be Optimised for search on YouTube and provide an engaging addition to a Blog Post or as standalone content.
