All Mapped Out
Some of you may have noticed that any maps on your site were not showing correctly over the last few days. This was down to a change in the way Google Maps operates. Google has changed the way in which it authorises the API Keys used to allow Google maps be used on websites and now requires a payment account for any of these API Keys so that it can automatically charge for any services over it’s allowed threshold.
We have very quickly updated our own account at Global River and created new API keys so that we can then use them on our customers websites. We have then gone through each of the websites and replaced any that were using an old key to now use a new one. This will fix any issue that you may have noticed with displaying Google maps on your site.
